We are Standard

We are Standard comes to Bilbao for the next Jack Daniels Music Session and Im exited since this concludes a successful campaign over the last months for me.  

Hope you enjoy the show next  30th of December in Bilbao. 

Here a little info on them:

In 2007 the single Mpossible Mixes appear where a Lou Reed version of Waiting for my man lets itself notice as a floor breaker. 

Their next album was published in 2008 , a cd with great artistic ambition produced by Andy Gill with remixes of the singles The last time by Arthur Baker. Since then they have been on the cover of Mondosconor magazine and burning the internet with their first videoclip.

At the end of the year of 2009 they take part in South by Southwest and at the Canadian Music Week in Toronto. They are finalists for the award for best alternative rock group. Their clip The last time gets awarded at the UFI independent music festival and at de FIVA 2009.

After a sumer filled with festivals they get awarded by MTV EMA as best spanish rock group-. 

2010 they publish their  disc in UK and filled with tours!

Finally 2011 is concluded without much resting with the awaited launch of "Great state", five songs with an important sound development that opens limitless possibilities.

Jack Daniel´s Session Valencia: Delafé & las Flores Azules

Jack Daniel´s tour continues throughout spain. Last saturdays stop was in The Mirror Room in Valencia and Delafé y Las Flores Azules and Chinese Christmas Cards where the invited guests. And of course we were there doing our thing on the scene and behind the scenes!

Jack Daniels Session: Corizonas in Barcelona

Next stop to our Jack Daniels Session campaign was my now hometown Barcelona.


Corizonas, the combo comprised by Arizona Baby and the Coronas, presented its first album within the Jack Daniels Sessions this past 23 of november in Barcelona at Razzmatazz. Also performing within this session where The PAris Riots and That Girl With Dark Eyes. 


It was a great performance and I hope the lucky winners of the tickets we were giving away had fun! See you this saturday in Valencia!

H O R S T

In the last year I have heard about a lot of different Photographers in fashion. There is one name that has been coming up quite often, regardless the category. Yesterday while learning about different lightning techniques the name appeared again. HORST, a very strong German name that gets printed in your memory. But don't get fooled because the harshness of the name does not have anything to do with the beauty of his creations...

Another one of the Jack Daniels Sessions and this time in Sevilla at the Boss club. And we were promoting, covering, publishing, supporting and giving away entrances. The artists this time were Delafé y las Flores Azules and Chinese Christmas Cards.
