Food Photography - why does McDonald's food look different on their ads

Why does mcdonald's food look different on their ads ? I think that we all have wondered about this when we receive our burger and it does not look at all how the ad looks like.

Food Styilist arranges the ingredients. The main difference is that they spend hours arranging how they should look like instead of 2 minutes (The time apparently they need in stores) and put them all in the front. They use the same ingredients and arrange them in a perspective to show each of the ingredients that are included. We can only see one perspective that is why at the end it appears to have plenty of everything. Of course they use more for the photography but at least its the same ingredients.... Oh yeah, and a lot of photoshop.

Heres a video McDonalds released in order to answer this question to one of their consumers.
What do you think?

Long exposure

It has happend to all of us that we see something beautiful and then we try to capture it on film and realize that the camera sees things differently. Well this works sometimes to our advantage, because another thing that our beloved cameras see different is motion. And thats exactly what we want to do here with long exposure. Leaving our camera exposed for longer periods of time. I think you can already achieve great results with exposures starting with 1/25 of course this is not a rule.

Here's an example of one of the photos of my "Modern Mexico embracing tradition series"I placed my camera on a tripod and with 1/25 let the camera do the work. First the moving water due to the funtain and the wind was very distracting of the beautiful architecture and blend of colors. The ripples have smoothed out and we have some degree of reflections but they are not distracting anymore and overall there is a feeling of peace. The whole scene seems to be moving but its not. This picture I took a couple of years ago and the intention was to leave some sort of "texture"to the water, nevertheless revisiting here I guess it could be an interesting picture having a little longer exposure.
