Fashion Week Barcelona

 Last week was fashion week here in Barcelona and I had a lot of fun between the shows, the parties and seeing some old friends! Now I had to take a week to recover and thats why I had not posted anything. We went HARD of course. To kick off the Fashion week we went to SHOKO to the opening party.

After that my friend Alejandra Anglada had her Fashion show on the old Moritz Factory with a performance of Moritz Valdemeyer which was pretty good with a Chun Lee type of girl kicking in the air and dancing with Light sticks. It was nice to see the hard work from Alejandra pay off in a really good show!

And after that it was a couple of days at the fair of The Brandery! Where brands like Custo Barcelona, Replay and Fetish and Fashion exposed. The best music was by Fangoria, 2manyDjs and Zombie Kids which are always nice to listen live! 

To end a great week we went to the reopening of Cabaret Berlin where we partied with Boy George and danced to his and Silvia Pradas beats! The music was a lot better than usually and as it is to imagine it was PACKED! So it started to get nicer after 4 in the morning when the crowd started to leave and you could actually move.

Custo Barcelona Afterparty, The Brandery

After The Brandery, Custo Barcelona held the anticipated afterparty at the exclusive Boo Beach Club in Barcelona. It included a surprise fashion show, where among others Custos daughter paraded on the catwalk. The party in general was interesting but it was not comparable to other years. A crowded space, huge entry lines, and free drinks only available in the VIP area, for the rest of guests there was a bar. Nevertheless a good excuse to go out on a thursday night.

The Brandery, Custo Barcelona

The Brandery is a fashion event that gathers many important brands in Barcelona. After the Bread and Butter left for Berlin, we only have the Brandery and 080. Which both were last week. Custo Barcelona is one of Barcelonas representative Brands. Representeing Barcelonas varied lifestyle with relaxed designs and many colors. I had the luck to work with Custo Barcelona through XXl Comunicación on a project for the Brandery and Custos private after party. After Custos runway show there was a concert by the french Nouvelle Vague. Other highlights were the concerts of Hercules and Love Affair and Ladytron.
